*Disclaimer: Until Palisade DPC has grown to a sustainable clinic, Dr. Allen will need to “moonlight” for supplemental income. Because he will need to bill Medicare for these services, he will be subject to strict regulations on Medicare billing. As such, Dr. Allen is not able to accept patients who have Medicare or are Medicare eligible until the practice is sustainable – at which point he will “opt-out” of Medicare billing and will start taking patients above the age of 65.

Direct Primary Care offers an innovative, simplified way to pay for healthcare. With a membership fee, you have the vast majority of your medical care included without the hidden, add-on charges associated with the traditional system.
We do not bill health insurance. By removing the extra overhead associated with billing insurance, we are able to keep our prices low. You can still choose to use your insurance to pay for labs, imaging, hospitalizations/surgeries, and specialist visits.
You can, however, use your HSA or FSA funds to pay for your DPC membership. Please check with your tax professional to ensure legality of all transactions.
It is still wise to have some sort of coverage in case of a catastrophic event. Dr. Allen can take care of the vast majority of your everyday healthcare needs (i.e. anything you’d go to the clinic or Urgent Care for), but we wouldn’t be able to manage a severe car accident or ruptured appendix.
We recommend pairing your DPC membership with a high-deductible healthcare plan or a health sharing plan like Zion HealthShare or CH Ministries.
We take care of people from all walks of life – no matter how many chronic conditions you need managed. For those who have an uncomplicated medical history, it still makes sense to have a primary care doctor to stay up-to-date on your medical screening and routine care. While this certainly does not need to be our clinic, we offer transparency, time, and access that cannot be found in the traditional system.
Eventually, yes. Unfortunately for now, no. Until Palisade DPC has grown to a sustainable clinic, Dr.
